Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: Pleasanton, CA

Salary Range: $151,142 - $251,904 annually

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Travel: Required to regional branch offices and job sites based on business needs

General Description:

The Senior Project Manager is a key leader responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, managing HVAC/Plumbing/process sales, and overseeing field labor coordination. This role demands a high level of autonomy, professionalism, and commitment to excellence in representing the company and delivering successful project outcomes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Serve as the single-source contact for clients and internal teams.
• Lead project lifecycle from concept engineering and estimating to execution and closeout.
• Manage contracts, procurement, and installation sequencing.
• Monitor financial performance, forecasting, budgeting, and billing.

Client & Team Coordination

• Lead client meetings and contract negotiations.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate internal departments (Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, Service).
• Mentor and support sales staff development.

Communication & Leadership

• Attend internal sales and construction meetings.
• Schedule and lead pre-construction meetings.
• Provide clear documentation (proposals, contracts, memos, change orders).
• Contribute to technical and strategic initiatives.

Position Requirements:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience managing HVAC projects ranging from $50K to $100M+.
• Proven ability to operate independently and develop new business.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with JDE, IFS, BidTracer, FastEst, Bluebeam, Box, Smartsheet preferred.
• Valid Class C driver's license and ability to travel.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs.
• Regular standing, walking, sitting, and manual dexterity.
• Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crawling.
• Clear vision (close and distance).
• Regular and routine attendance required.
